About Catherine Waltan
Catherine was born and raised in southern California. She has an absolute love for all animals and is the mother of 2 children, 3 dogs, 1 rabbit, and 1 stray cat who likes to pop in and visit. All of the critters are free roaming, which is every bit as chaotic as it sounds.
Watching the daily antics of the animals, Catherine would jokingly give them voices to make her children laugh. Since then, she has started to write books based on her lovable fur babies.
Her Helen Lighthall series follows a small-town amateur sleuth and her dogs Shadow and Halo, now joined by Mako, a chocolate Lab puppy with a real talent for trouble. On her YouTube channel you can listen to free full-length cozy mystery audiobooks. Pour the tea, and settle in.
